A lactation counsellor provides guidance and support for all of your breastfeeding, chestfeeding and combination feeding needs, helping you navigate challenges and reach your goals.

We provide lactation services in the York Simcoe Region in Ontario.

  • Information and hands-on practice to help you navigate your days and nights as you feed your baby so you can address physical challenges and set up for success.  

  • A lactation counsellor is trained to provide you with the tools you need to feel confident as you set and achieve your goals. How to plan your time, equipment and support system.

  • Making sure that you are well fed is important to ensuring your baby is also well nourished.

  • Clogged ducts, baby’s weight gain, nipple pain, milk supply, latching concerns, assistance with pumping, general nursing.

  • Yes. Pumping is a specific skill that I can help you work on.

  • I do! We can discuss many things about feeding your baby and even practice technique virtually.

  • I can help you plan for weaning and help you handle a number of feeding scenarios.
